Do YOU think YOU might be able to give a little bit of your time and goodwill to support those who find themselves temporarily or permanently housebound?
Plans are underway, in conjunction with 'Care Network Cambridgeshire', for the development of a 'Good Neighbour Scheme' to be organised by the Church but, hopefully, also involving volanteers from the community at large. The level of commitment and the nature of the assistance offered would be entirely up to you. We would not expect that all volunteers would necessarily be happy or able to undertake all tasks.
A meeting will be arranged in the near future for those who show an interest, when plans will be explained and discussed in greater detail. Your attendance will not be seen as commitmennt so why not come and find out more?
